My article "A Geometric Approach to Double Descent in Neural Networks" has successfully passed the first round of peer review at Neural Networks and received a revise-and-resubmit decision. The reviewers and editors provided thoughtful and constructive feedback.
One reviewer highlighted the geometric interpretation and FFN construction as a particularly elegant aspects of the work. The review process also pointed to possible connections with Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) and AI-driven aerodynamic design—an application area I had not previously considered. I'm pleased to see that the framework could already have practical uses.
I'm now looking forward to working on the reviewers' suggestions and preparing the revised manuscript.
